350° | 35 - 40 Minutes
Melt ½ cup butter in a 9 x13 pan
Sprinkle with 1 cup packed light brown sugar.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Arrange about 10 cups sliced peaches on top of sugar & butter.
Cream together till light & fluffy 1 cup butter (softened) and 1 cup sugar
Then beat 2 eggs into cream mix
Mix w/ a whisk 2 ½ cup flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp cinnamon.
Add flour mixture alternately with 1 cup milk and ½ tsp almond extract. Beat well after each addition.
Spoon batter over peaches
Let cool 5 minutes then invert
